A lifelong hunter and angler, McKean has pursued birds, big-game, and trophy fish all over the world. He’s the national conservation editor for Game & Fish, contributing editor to Petersen’s Hunting, Sports Afield, and Fair Chase, and the author of “Hunting the West” and “How To Hunt Everything.”
He lives (and hunts and fishes) in eastern Montana, where he is an aspiring birder.
