Holosun EPS Carry

The Holosun EPS Carry is an enclosed pistol red dot sight for compact concealed carry handguns. The enclosed design puts the red dot emitter between two lenses, protecting it from outside debris and water. This feature is a huge advantage over traditional open designs, as just a few raindrops can disrupt the emitter and render the red dot useless.

This optic has Holosun’s K footprint, which will mount directly to popular handguns like the Sig P365. It also comes with an RMSc-to-K adapter plate, which is needed for handguns with the RMSc footprint like the Glock 43X/48MOS and the Springfield Hellcat. The 0.77” x 0.58” viewing window is impressive for a red dot this size. The large area makes it easier to acquire the dot and target while presenting the handgun.

The 7075 Aluminum housing is compact in design and offers one of the lowest deck heights of any compact red dot sight. The bottom of the viewing window is only about 0.25” high (bottom of the optic to the bottom of the window). This allows this red dot to easily co-witness with most factory iron sights. For optics ready handguns like the Sig P365 that lose the rear sight when a red dot is installed, this optic has a built-in rear sight notch to replace it.

The EPS Carry includes Holosun’s Solar Failsafe feature. In ambient light, the red dot is powered by the solar panel. In low light, the red dot is powered by the internal CR1620 battery. The battery can be changed via a slide out, side facing tray, eliminating the need to remove the red dot from the pistol to change the battery.

Shake Awake technology also saves battery life (rated at 50,000 hours) by turning the optic off when it is not in use. A sensitive internal sensor turns the optic on as soon as it detects any movement. The adjustable sleep timer is set to 10 minutes by default. This can be changed by the user or turned off completely.

The dot brightness can be changed manually by the user with 8 daylight settings and 4 night vision settings. This optic will also automatically adjust the dot brightness based on the ambient light conditions. A third lockout mode is available that will lock the dot brightness at the users setting.

Six different reticle configurations are available. These include a 2 MOA dot, 6 MOA dot, or Holosun’s MRS system that features a selectable 2 MOA dot and/or a 32 MOA ring. All reticles are available in either red or green.

Three sets of mounting screws are included with this optic. Included are (2) M3x12mm, (2) M4x12mm, and (2) 6x32-0.5” screws. A lens cloth and adjustment tool are also included.
