Gun Mounting Guide
The Holosun K series (407k and 507k) are “micro” red dots intended to be mounted to compact handguns like the Sig P365, Glock 43X/48 MOS, and the Springfield Hellcat.
These red dots have the Holosun K series footprint. This footprint is similar to the RMS (or shield) footprint; however, the rear posts (or recoil lugs) have been removed and the front posts are shorter. Some handguns like the Sig P365 are compatible with the “K” footprint. Others like the Springfield Hellcat are not and require an adapter plate as noted below.
This red dot will fit:
- Sig P365 (all models)
- Glock 43X/48 MOS requires this adapter plate
- S&W M&P Shield Plus requires this adapter plate
- Springfield Hellcat requires this adapter plate
- Ruger Max-9
- FN Reflex MRD
- PSA Dagger

Holosun HS407K X2 6 MOA Dot Reticle Red Dot Overview
The HE407K-GR X2 is an open reflex optical sight designed for concealed carry pistol applications. The X2 Series pistol optics feature two improvements. First is the addition of Lock Mode from our 2018-2019 LE pistol optic models. Lock Mode, when activated, locks the buttons preventing inadvertent setting changes. Second, the buttons have been redesigned to compliment the Lock Mode by placing them lower and out of the way. Additional features include Holosun’s Super Green LED with up to 50k hours battery life, and Shake Awake.
