Description
Nikon's waterproof Binocular Telescope 20x120-IV features massive 120mm diameter objective lenses and proprietary Nikon multicoatings for bright, clear, highly detailed observation in virtually any light conditions. Durable construction and included yolk mount (and optional Pillar Stand and Adaptor) allow for comfortable and stable high-magnification viewing for myriad applications in the toughest outdoor environments.
With its bright, sharp views and 3° field of view, the Nikon Binocular Telescope 20x120-IV is the ideal high-power precision optic for commercial fishing, ship- or land-based surveillance, astronomy, scenic observation and other applications requiring extended viewing sessions under rigorous conditions. The Binocular Telescope's proprietary optical system created through Nikon glass and multicoating technologies is built into a highly durable waterproof, fog-proof body designed for extreme outdoor use by professionals and civilians alike.
The Binocular Telescope 20x120-IV utilizes a superior optical system to achieve an incredibly sharp image with chromatic and spherical aberrations effectively compensated. The Binocular Telescope 20×120-IV enables high-power and dynamic observation with superior image flatness, while realizing a wide field of view (55.3˚ apparent field of view).
Spotting scope-like viewing capability with both eyes open provides lifelike stereoscope (three dimensional) vision and eliminates eye fatigue during long observation sessions. Large, 120mm objective lens diameter results in brighter, crisper images with greater detail and true color rendition.
Long eye relief (high eye-point) design (20.8mm) ensures a clear, full field of view. Horn-shaped rubber eyecups are employed for easier viewing. Individual focus eyepiece oculars allow precise focusing and viewing comfort during extended observation sessions. Robust and durable all-metal construction is impervious to rain, high humidity and the effects of thermal shock. Highly corrosion-proof and impact-resistant body maintains optimal performance over an extended life. Waterproof and fog-proof construction purged with nitrogen gas maintains fog-free interior.
Equipped with a solid yoke-style mount for easy handling with 360˚ azimuth (horizontal) rotation and -30˚ downward to 70˚ upward elevation tilting capability. The optional Nikon Pillar Stand and Pillar Stand Adaptor (both sold separately) elevate the Binocular Telescope for comfortable viewing while standing. The Pillar Stand attaches to the Binocular Telescope's yoke mount with the Pillar Stand Adaptor and provides a solid, stable platform on land or at sea.
