Gun Mounting Details
The Sig Sauer Romeo X Compact is a “micro” red dot intended to be mounted to compact handguns like the Sig P365, Glock 43X/48 MOS, and the Springfield Hellcat.
This red dot has the standard RMS (or Shield) footprint. This footprint has four posts, one in each corner, and two screws near the rear of the sight. Most optics ready compact handguns are compatible with this footprint.

If your handgun is not optics ready, you can mount this red dot to certain handguns with a dovetail mount. These mounts fit into the dovetail slot that holds the rear sight in place. Simply remove the rear sight and replace it with this mount.
