Gun Mounting Details
The Vortex Defender CCW is a “micro” red dot intended to be mounted to compact handguns like the Sig P365, Glock 43X/48 MOS, and the Springfield Hellcat.
This red dot has the standard RMS (or Shield) footprint. This footprint has four posts, one in each corner, and two screws near the rear of the sight. Most optics ready compact handguns are compatible with this footprint. Some handguns like the Sig P365 have a modified version of this footprint but are still directly compatible.
